Four mini-games to train pharmacy staff on medicines: their active ingredients and their brand names.
The goal was for pharmacy staff to confidently recognize a medicine's active ingredient and its various brand names. Instead of a manual, we built four mini-games, each with its own mechanic and several difficulty levels, so that knowledge would stick through fun rather than forced memorization.
Multiple-choice trivia: given an active ingredient, pick the product that should be recommended.
Match each active ingredient with its correct brand name before time runs out.
Trace the right path to link each product to its active ingredient, in as few moves as possible.
Answer correctly before the line of patients starts getting sick.
Whatever the mini-game, the score at the end of a level was the same: stars and time. A simple way to see how well each employee did, and to motivate them to replay the level and beat their own record.
